Chandigarh : Global Japanese retailer UNIQLO, today opened its newest store at Nexus Elante Mall, Chandigarh further accelerating its expansion plans in India.. With a promise of making its LifeWear available to as many people as possible, the newest store introduces a brand new shopping experience for customers with its thoughtful designs, high-quality and functional products that are made for all.
In July, UNIQLO opened its doors to customers in Lucknow and is now accelerating a push into another northern city, Chandigarh. This new store will also serve as a hub and have access to markets of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Located in the biggest mall of Chandigarh, UNIQLO Nexus Elante store is spread over two floors with a total sales area of approximately 15,000 sq. ft. The store features prominent store-front branding through UNIQLO’s distinctive red colour. Large window facades facing the courtyard side will also give customers the view of the distinct digital branding and collections.
The store also features UNIQLO LifeWear, apparel inspired by life’s need for thoughtful and timeless clothing. Available in a variety of colours and styles for people of all ages, this apparel comes from the Japanese values of simplicity, quality and longevity. UNIQLO Nexus Elante store offers the entire range of Fall and Winter products for men, women, kids and babies, such as its innovative and functional Ultra Light Down (ULD), HEATTECH garments, Recycled fleece and flannel, as well as products featuring premium fabrics such as cashmere, lambswool and merino. Customers can also find UNIQLO’s essential items such as easy care rayon, denims, fine cloth shirts and smart ankle pants.
In addition, the new store will continue UNIQLO India’s Good Neighbourhood Guide endeavor that highlights the hidden gems of local neighborhoods. The initiative showcases local community efforts both at the store and online through UNIQLO’s digital platforms. Upon opening of the Chandigarh store, the company will present a local sustainable brand, ‘Pindfresh’. Pindfresh allows one to grow their own food at home without pesticides.
